David R. Johnson, Director of Sales

During his more than 15 years in the hospitality industry, David has accumulated an impressive array of achievements. After graduating from Chapman University in Orange, California with a B.A. degree in Public Relations in 1994, David moved to the Salt Lake City area where he widened his experience in facility management into managing sales and planning at several renowned resorts, including Snowbird Ski and Summer Resort and the Sunstone Hotel Group’s Hilton and Marriott operations. David then headed west and joined Hornblower Cruises and Events at Lake Tahoe, where he became Associate Director of Sales for both Lake Tahoe Cruises & Zephyr Cove Resort, overseeing the sales operations for the resort and four cruise ships. Relocating to the San Francisco Bay Area in 2005, he joined forces with Sierra Event Company as Director of Sales. Moving forward, he was hired as Director of Sales and Marketing for the Mission bay Conference Center at UCSF. Most recently returning to meeting planning, David is the current Director of Sales for C2it Events.

There is probably no one with better or broader travel and hospitality connections than David who has belonged to 6 boards, committees, and associations, all designed to provide visitors – whether ten or ten thousand – with the ultimate hospitality experience. Such luminaries as Microsoft, Sony, Bank of America, General Electric, the San Francisco 49er Foundation, just to mention a few, have benefited from his expertise in planning their meetings and incentives. Dave is also C2it’s resident cruise specialist, having enjoyed more than a dozen cruises to Mexico, the Caribbean and Alaska. Knowledgeable and friendly, David looks forward to his stint at C2it Events, helping future clients maximize their meeting or event experience.

Brittney Hadley, Account Manager

A native Californian born and raised in the Sierra foothills of Placerville, California, Brittney’s organizational skills, enthusiasm and temperament convinced the Squaw Valley Ski Corporation to hire her as the youngest event planner in their history, and she quickly rose to Events Manager at the corporation’s High Camp, a skiing, dining, and entertainment complex at the upper terminus of the giant gondola, where she managed events ranging in size from a handful to more than a thousand for such corporate luminaries as AIG, Oracle, American General Finance.

The Sierra Event Company was extremely fortunate to have Brittney join the SEC team in early 2006 and since she has since planned extensive end complex events both in and out of the Tahoe are for clients such as Google, Aflac, Citibank and many other demanding clients. . Her product knowledge, extensive event planning experience, exposure to planning a number of “green” events and her abundant enthusiasm make her a perfect fit for C2it Event and she is proud to be a member of an experienced team, dedicated to the highest standards of performance. When not planning, she is an enthusiastic participant in many alpine sports, especially enjoying snowboarding, kayaking, and snowmobiling, and when summer hits, volleyball is one of her passions.
