Lean & Green

Today’s economic and ecological climate requires prudence in planning events. C2it is committed to cross-utilizing the best vendors to leverage purchase power to bring costs down and to reduce the carbon footprint of each and every event. Internally C2it has lowered both its own carbon footprint, but also its overhead by using technology to pursue a more green operation – this reduction in overhead is passed on to you.

Now we are happy to share those practices with those companies who wish to move forward with events in a more global-friendly way. For nearly a decade, under the Sierra Event Company banner, we have produced entirely green events for clients such as Google, The Sierra Nevada Conservancy & World Incentive Nexus who demand sustainable practices for their entire event. More recently we have assisted many other companies that are just beginning to make their contributions to reduce their carbon footprint and “green” their meetings. A little greening goes a long way and the cost of going green in meetings has come “down to Earth”, making it a misconception that doing a green meeting is more costly.
